Mozilla has stated that it wants to set a new world record when it releases the latest version of its Firefox internet browser. 
The company has coined the new term 'Download Day' and plans to get the most downloads ever for its new Firefox 3 web browser in the first 24 hours of it being available.
Call me a cynic but I think it might just do it as there is no official record to actually beat. However, they do hope to beat the amount of downloads for its previous version Firefox 2, which have been reported as being 1.6 million - it will be judged by our friends from Guinness.
